When I decided to take on the project of building an In-law unit in my backyard for my parents I was really concerned if I could handle it since I have a full time job across the bay, travel for work and I have no experience with building anything especially a house. With my parents reaching their 80's I knew I had to get it done. I met with 4 contractors and went through my list of questions, and I knew immediately who my contractor was going to be. Right from the start Walt was organized and made me very comfortable with taking on this project. I wanted the house to be handicap accessible and Walt suggested things I had not even thought of. He answered every single question I had (even the dumb ones) and was so patient with my parents when they had questions too. He took the time to introduce us to everyone on the jobsite. The guys on the job were amazing; they were so neat, organized, friendly, and absolutely knew what they were doing.Walt goes the extra mile to raise questions that you may not think of and make recommendations. His communication could not have been any better. Even while I was traveling out of the country I never worried, Walt had it under control and kept me updated at all times. His attention to detail (things I never would have noticed) was exceptional. I have never written a recommendation for a company before, and I knew this would be my first. I cannot praise them enough. The house is gorgeous and my parents love it.
